Interesting article on the advantage and possible long term disadvantage of GDI and TDI engines. Specifically on the Ford Ecoboost. engine. I wonder if BG or another chemical company will create a snake oil and application process for this concern.

Just heard from my snake oil rep and he said they have been working with Toyota, Lexus and VW for quite a while trying to find a solution. They have a fuel and oil additive as well as a induction cleaner that has proven to be helpful.

Very interesting. I've never thought of the ramifications of direct injection.
