Checkmate sightings this weekend

heres a mate i ran with today. i think its a pulsar. he's got a 225 merc on it with a 10" setback. i smoked him out of the hole but top end we are about the same. i think i had a 1 or 2 mph on him. if you noticed the foto above its the same boat.

We hardly ever see mates around here unless we head inland to the lakes.
nice to see this old thread back in action

Its amazing how many Checkmates are around at my small lake in Maine. There has got to be 10 guys that live on the lake that have Mates. I will try to get more pictures but here are 2.

The second one is kind of a poor picture. Its not a Mate, but it is definatley a fan favorite on this site. Its an F-13 with a 75 Merc. I will try to get some better pictures of this one because it is super nice. I have run side by side with the kid several times and he runs right around 49mph with 2 people. Sweet little boat. The name on the transom is "College Fund"

seen this one up at old orchard memorial weekend. he was taunting me all day. when i finally got out to chase him he was gone. damn it!!!

Come on Matt that 81.7 could not catch him. As fast as a outboard takes off you should be able to catch 90% of the boats in the lake without trying.

here are a couple of my friends here in town. there sure are alot of mates in this area. :cheers

Saw a few Mates on the lake this weekend.

Nice '91 Sportfire, owners seemed to be NON-enthusiasts....what a shame.

'88 Starliner, these guys were much more into the brand. Nice to see owners that are familiar with their boats pedigree.
