    "Wanted" Checkmate Pulsare BR

It was listed early May at the same price it is now. Anyone have any insight into why it hasn't sold? Seems really fairly priced and yet it still sits there.

    Opinion on possible purchase please

Boats still there. Thinking they might be willing to deal. Any real negatives aside from the rough water capacity? Is it going to be a dog with the 200efi? Any estimates on speed? Pretty sure it is slower than the sport tier for my insurance (60mph?)

    Opinion on possible purchase please

I've been going to various marina's/dealers in the area but I'll tell you it has been incredibly hard to make it to any of them with the traffic this year. I leave from GTA east at 4 and don't get to Barrie until 6:30. Double R and all other dealers I want to stop in in the area close at 6...

    Opinion on possible purchase please

Spoke with them today. Boat has a wrap and is in "okay" (weathered) condition. Had a new "long block" installed recently. Between that and the comment above that a Pulsare 21 in 2-3ft water is a bad combination the attractive price might not be worth it.

    Opinion on possible purchase please

They aren't getting back to me, maybe they already have a buyer! I'll try again this afternoon. Any general comments on that era checkmate for a new buyer? We're near Killbear provincial park so a typical day would probably bring 1-3ft water and if we get caught out 4ft+. I'm still trying...

    Opinion on possible purchase please

The boat at Double R looks like the winner. We take the 400N so I've not seen the boat before. Has anyone seen it up close? Is anyone familiar with the boat or previous owner? Does it not seem priced too low for a dealer boat? I've reached out to Double R for some additional information...

    Opinion on possible purchase please

I am in the same boat as you. The floor and listed "options" concern me. Can anyone corroborate the statement that that era Checkmates had bad floors? That 18 foot Checkmate from Double R looks like a heck of a deal does it not? I wasn't considering 18' but that might be worth it. Of...

    Opinion on possible purchase please

I've been trying to find a good Checkmate to jump on since last August and there just aren't many that come up in the Toronto area. This one was listed shortly after I lost out on a seemingly awesome deal (2010 2100 for 29,000CAD). I didn't pay much attention originally because I was trying to...

Introduction - Seeking opinion on Pulse 186 value

Hello; I'm hoping to become a checkmate owner sometime in the near future. I joined to try and get some insight into what's available and leverage some collective knowledge to avoid buying the wrong boat. I've been around boats all my life and currently own a PWC. I've been looking...
