1996 Pulsare 2100 BR resto.

So I am going to restore another Pulsare LOL. 10 years later from my last boat resto. That thread is here. https://checkmate-boats.com/forums/threads/95-pulsare-2100br-resto.23380/

Late July last year I bought a local 96 Pulsare that was for sale. It was not in good shape for the most part. This boat will be a multi year project due to cost & time. I knew going in that it probably would need full resto, interior, re-power & bunch of other little things. I got the boat at a fair price since it was bought at Covid pricing time. First up was to get the Evinrude off & find a Mercury to re-power the boat. Found a 2003 Mercury 250XS Racing to install. That alone has cost a small fortune LOL. Below is short list of what was needed.

-2003 Mercury 250XS Racing
-Bobs hydraulic 12 inch jackplate
-Trophy Plus 27 pitch prop
-Mercury Racing solid hub kit
-Quicksilver oil injection tank
-Quicksilver 4000 throttle control with Gen 2 cables
-MercMonitor
-Mercury rigging tube
-SeaStar Pro steering

Next up after getting it in water running is to get the exterior in shape as the boat spent most of its life in the Florida sun.

Been out on the water last few weeks and the temporary floor that I made for the battery and oil tank are holding up well. In the next few weeks I think I’m going to place an order with gotcha covered to have the interior redone. Some shop redid it three years ago and it is just terrible.

Gotcha Covered does excellent work. I’m very happy with the seat skins they made for our 1996 Pulsare 2100BR
