PICKED UP 4 MILES PER HOUR!!!

I finally got my outdrive back together on my 454 Enforcer this weekend.Upon reassembly I noticed that the rubber hub (in the prop) had broken away and the prop was spinning on it under load.I picked up a used 23 Mirage, threw it on and brought my top end up to 68mph (speedo)!

I still searching for the right prop put that was a quick way to pick up a little top end mph!

You probably dropped a few RPM's I would guess too.

Yes Dave,I've been out a couple times.Raced my old Senator from last year. Beat em,that was fun. What boat are you gonna have? I see your looking into a 28 footer.Theres a couple nice Checks for sale in the Want Ad Digest.Seems to be a lot more Checkmates on the river this year.Do you launch in Albany or Henry Hudson park? I'm sure I'll see ya out there at some point!

Eric,
I launch from Henry hudson.I still have the 25 but took the wife out looking at boats(rain day) and we were looking at small cruisers

I've been launching at Henry Hudson for years. I'll be headed to Sacandaga sometime in the next couple weeks (on the weekend) whenever the weathers nice.I'm usually around North Hamptom Beach or that island out in the middle of the main body. It's gonna be tough getting out of that Convincor and into a cruiser. But there are some nice sport crusiers out there.Just not the same when you mash that throttle down!!Good luck
