Stainless Steel Springs?

Rtfosmoe

New member
Hello,

I have a 1983 Checkmate Diplomat with a ladder on the back end. The springs finally gave out last year and need two new ones. Can someone recommend a place to purchase these stainless steel springs? Also, does anyone know the size and specs of these springs? I have looked a the local hardware and boat stores, but they only carry steel which will rust. Also, I can't find anything on Amazon.

Thanks,

Rich

I’m not familiar with the ladder of the Diplomat, can you post a pic of the spring? Ladder? I Googled Stainless Steel springs and a crap load of stainless springs popped up, even on Amazon.

If they work let me know the springs on my diplomat don't look so good I just got it and doing an overhaul I'm excited to get it done
