that sucks, big time, that motor beat up was wourth the $2500 alone, since you are looking to buy a Checkmate there's A LOT of things to look for in them older Checks that if you dont it will cost you a lot of time and money if you dont find the problem befor you buy and its a good bargaining tool to know these things, so if you have any questions or I could tell you just about everything to look into befor you buy a Starflite.
