What did i get myself into?

Good thing my wife knew i was nuts when she married me... :rof:
Got the drive shower ordered and all the rest of the parts to put it back together. only thing left to buy is carpet. but before that i'm going to dump it in the lake without the floor just to make sure i have no other leaks, i might mke the end of season at this rate!!! lol
 
well update on the progress. had a few set backs but mostly mother nature dumping rain on us here in michigan, but i did get the motor in, still got an over heating issue going on. 20 min on the house in the driveway and shes getting hot. took it out last week and put it in the lake to make sure the hull wasn't going to leak and kill my new floor, good new is shes holding water out of the hull. bad news is i didn't get far before the temp gauge started to go in the red. ordered a new impeller and a t fitting with check balls for the risers. read a few times in a few forums that excess on the bypass will not circulate the water in the block and cause heating issues. i figured might as well put new on it and make sure it is eliminated that issue. got one half the floor done, what a job to pour the foam and hurry up and get the floor in place before it expands!!!! will have the rest done this week when the weather clears up and i will give it another shot and see if it over heats with the new parts installed.
 
it's been a while since i last posted, first off i'd like to give a shout out to Problem child, Great seeing you this past weekend! and once again, Sharp looking boat! now on to the fun, i finally got mine up and running good! the overheating issue was a stupid issue. easy to over look! the raw water hose from the out drive to the transom was about an inch too long, so it kinked on me when the out drive is all the way down. fixed that and installed a new fuel pump as the old was not putting enough to the carb. ran Great all weekend! GPS had me at 53 mph on our run home. going to dial in the carb some more as it seemed flat on the top end and go from a 21p to a 23p prop and see if i can get some more out of it! interior is mostly done and i put in some LED lights just for looks. i'm just happy that it ran good at this point! that boat has come a long ways since i first brought it home! i'll post pics and a video in the next day or two.
 
Nice to see you and your family out enjoying the Enforcer. What a beautiful weekend !! We have decided to skip going north this weekend and will be back out to Holloway camping and boating . Hope to see you out there again !
 
We might try and hit the water this weekend, we got a lot going on though, between woodward and nascar the weekend gets shot pretty quick! lol
 
It's been a while since i updated this thread. End of last season i got the fuel issues sorted out on the last run of the year. kept my fingers crossed when i pulled the boat out for the first time this year and you'll never guess it but NO ISSUES!!!! boat ran great first time out! What a relief! Got some cool videos this time since my loving wife got me a gopro for Christmas!

Congrats Chad on the new season ahead. I'm sure we will see you at the hangout spot soon. Will be camping for 4 days over Memorial out there. Nice work bud.
 
Looks great, especially for what you started with. I'm new around here but have been on Holloway with the family pontoon for quite a few years now. I'm sure I'll see you out there this summer!

LMAO! should be more of the stubborn headed award, i hate giving up on things. Come on up! holloway is a blast to run on, pretty good size lake on the south end, and we always beach over on the north end across from the channel. bring cold beer, lol:cheers:
 
I caught a short vid of Chad s Enforcer while hanging out at another campsite this evening at Holloway res. Glad to see him and his family really having a nice season and burning lots of fuel this year. The boat is sounding great Chad !

OH damn! I got caught, lol. that video is awesome!! it sounds great out of the boat! we hav been out on the water almost every weekend now, so far this has been a great season with little problems! hope to see you out again!

Nice to see you ripping it up Chad. I was sitting in a lawn chair watching the boats fly by . I seen you coming and whipped out the camera lol. We won't be back out for a while. I'm pulling my motor in the next couple days to do some work on it. I tore it up a little this weekend !

I'm sure we will be out on the water, thinking of hitting the lake tonight to cool off, these hot days are killing me! lol.

Problem child, That sucks! hope you didn't hurt it too bad, if you need a hand let me know, i'm just a hop skip and a jump away.
