Cats out of the bag now

Congrats that is one sweet boat, I noticed your waiting to get numbers on it to run it, took me a good 3 weeks to get numbers for Dads, if I remember right I had to send away to Ontario for them, what's the deal on running Canadian waters with US numbers I wonder, I bet 1/3 rd of the boats running my lake still have US numbers on them, I ran dads without any numbers last year and the CO's never said anything when I saw them a few times.

Well, when I called for info, I was told to print the form out on line or they could mail me one. The form and a signed copy of my personal I.D. like a D.L. and a copy of the bill of sale have to be mailed to the department in New Brunswick Canada. While on the phone I was told it is not OK to run the boat till I have the new numbers on the boat and the registration card with the boat. The fine is $250. Maybe I'll risk it, but not on a Saturday at the busy lakes where the Rangers hang out.

They told me carry a copy of the form and that would be ok till numbers came, I know it was a good 3 weeks till I got them after I mailed it.

Maybe they're more relaxed in this neck of the woods, my 89' eluder never had any numbers on it till I put them on in 09' lol
