IS NOT A CHECKMATE!!!

NOT!

Ended up looking at Sam's 283 last week. I went out to look and if nice go for a water test. At that point think it over and let him know within a couple days. After looking at it, I could not wait to get it on the water. A test run and I was all smiles. Smoothest riding boat I've been in. We put it back on the trailer and he asked what I thought. I knew after 2 years of looking, this was the boat for me. I wrote him a check in full and said I'd be back on 4/5 to pick it up. Yesterday I headed out to get the boat and drag it home. It was a good trip getting 11.27mpg out and 6.7mpg loaded. The best I have ever gotten out of the dually is 9mpg empty. I guess the 4" exhaust helped out :thumb:. I was amazed on how well the truck ran with a load. This boat did not tow much different than the enchanters or my 5x8 dump trailer (2800lbs). Also the dually is sporting new paint to somewhat match the boat :D (not planned). I was all pumped about buying a duramax but I think for now, the gas dually is staying around

I'll get some more pics this weekend and also maybe even get it wet :surf:

Wow thats a big boat :thumb:.I like the colors also. Hope you like buying gas though as by looks of it your gonna be buying lots between the boat/truck:rof:

Ross....Traverse city.... if not this year, they 100% next year. I got a ton of restored faith in the truck but the fuel consumption sucks!!

Madtown, going to keep it at the lake so 20 minute ride or less is not that bad. Plus we don't do a lot of running. More swimming and every once and a while a adult pop ;)

Simply put, "OUTSTANDING"  It's party time now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats and good luck. Don't forget to buy stock in your favorite oil company.

Very nice

What yr. is it a 95-98? Looks really clean and tidy esp. under the hatch, did he clean up the rigging/wiring a little or do you think that is the way it came?

Two great boats, kind of greedy:poke: don't you think?

SICK! I knew it... when I saw you post it up in the checkmate with twins thread and saw your caddy in the back ground, coupled with knowing you were looking.

Very nice ride and nice paint on the truck! Great combo:D

Congrat's Brian!!!! Hell yeah!! :thumb: That is great looking boat, good things come to those who wait!! So how'd she run? Get any speed numbers?
