IS NOT A CHECKMATE!!!
NOT!
Ended up looking at Sam's 283 last week. I went out to look and if nice go for a water test. At that point think it over and let him know within a couple days. After looking at it, I could not wait to get it on the water. A test run and I was all smiles. Smoothest riding boat I've been in. We put it back on the trailer and he asked what I thought. I knew after 2 years of looking, this was the boat for me. I wrote him a check in full and said I'd be back on 4/5 to pick it up. Yesterday I headed out to get the boat and drag it home. It was a good trip getting 11.27mpg out and 6.7mpg loaded. The best I have ever gotten out of the dually is 9mpg empty. I guess the 4" exhaust helped out
. I was amazed on how well the truck ran with a load. This boat did not tow much different than the enchanters or my 5x8 dump trailer (2800lbs). Also the dually is sporting new paint to somewhat match the boat
(not planned). I was all pumped about buying a duramax but I think for now, the gas dually is staying around

I'll get some more pics this weekend and also maybe even get it wet
