Enforcer in the water

Alrighty!!! The boat floats and all the gauges work. Took it out on short speed runs, got the motor to high, cavitating like hell on the hole shot. Also couldn't trim perpendicular with the boat without shooting a huge rooster tail. The difference between the ole tube gil bracket and the set bracket is the motor reponse. The boat reacts to the steering alot better with the new setback bracket. All in all good day on the water, I've lowered the motor already and try to get out on Thurdsay for another run. The pictures didn't turn out well because of the sunshine but here are some of them.

How does she run with the new jackplate ?? Looking good

Runs alot better with the setback bracket and jackplate. I'll need to find the sweet spot and lock it down. The hole shot seems quicker if I didn't cavitate getting on plane. I'll have a better idea when I go back to run the boat again.

The payback for all of the hardwork is finally here:cheers:

As expected, she looks way better in the water:bigthumb: Now... the truck needs a paint job to match the boat:rof:

My setup is 12" setback bracket 5" jackplate and the prop center is 3" below the v-pad. I'm spinning a 24 P cupped raker on a 250hp Evinrude. The tube gil bracket was 24" setback.

A-1 Robbie. :bigthumb: Lookin good.

Pic of the motor shows it is tucked under. What happens when you trim
up? Did you say it will cavitate?

Jim
