Chesapeake Bash 2013 - June 7-10

sounds good! keep me posted! if nothing else maybe we will trailer down by you and run over with you! that would prolly take about an hour off of the water but still give us a good ride over! :cheers:

Lots of food being mentioned so whos bringing toilet paper?:D

I have a ramp right by me that you can use and leave your rig if you want. Its like 20 bucks but safe. We could meet there if thats what you decide.

I'm also bringing coffee and filters. I will bring a few rolls of TP, some trash bags and a roll or two of paper towels.
 
I'm headed down Thursday night and grabbing a hotel at some point then getting up Friday and heading the rest of the way. I plan on getting out on the water Friday afternoon. Me and the lady want to check out red eyes for a drink and late lunch. Am I going to be able to park at the house before 5 Friday?
 
You guys have a great time over there. All this talk of Crab, home made bread, smoked ribs , t-shirts, big home made breakfasts, home made ceasar dressing has got me feeling a whole lotta shoulda , woulda, coulda. Hoping to make it in the future. Enjoy the trip everyone.

Parking at the house before five is not going to be a possibility. I'm not sure who will be there, but the owner said specifically "NO arrivals before 5pm" There should be a ramp nearby that you could put in at and we'll get the truck to the house later in the day. I will give you a ride back to pick up your truck later in the day if need be.

UPDATE:

Mrs. Jetmate agreed to cook us up a hunk of beef. Bought it today along with sweet onions, horse radish, mayo, and barbecue sauce. Gonna cook it the night before medium rare. Will pick up some rolls Thursday.

I cooked up some pit beef Memorial day. Bought a small slicer that shaved the meat up pretty good if you would like me to bring it.

YES, definitely. Bring it. Was thinking about that myself. I usually have to cut by hand. I do have a real nice grill set that I will bring.

I guess I'll strap my grill in the bed (even tho it's gonna cover up my awesome checkmate sticker). I'm bringing a case of burgers, thought we could cook them up Saturday sometime.
 
Ill bring some plastic wear type stuff and solo cups to help out some. You all have everything covered so well i have no idea what else to pitch in! :eyecrazy:

All i know is the drive back to Indiana Monday will more than likely be full of pit stops as this is looking to be a good weekend!! Ill also bring an extra case of beer or 2!
 
gents, looks like I won't be able to make it out until Sunday morning unfortunately. Hopefully the party will still be rockin. Most likely gonna put in at Sandy Point across the bay and make the run over early am. Looking forward to meeting you all!
