Chesapeake Bash 2013 - June 7-10

I'm watching Andrea on the weather forecast and thinking I might have to wrap up the boat for the trip down and leave it on the trailer till Saturday morning.
Maybe it's time to invest in a full waterproof cover. :brickwall:

Oh well, at least there'll be enough grub and booze to tuck into while we look out at it.

Looks like this rain is gonna come in tommorow evening and run into friday.
Fingers crossed it blows out by time we can get in the house. I'll be watching hour by hour for a window to make the ride down friday without getting soaked. Did get the boat cleaned up and started packing it. Lets get it on!

I really hope the weather clears up Friday. I've been watching it very closely. Glad I put two coats of wax on it just to drive 6 hours getting dirty and rained on!

Seems like every time i clean mine back up in get caught in the rain again! ether towing it or working on it or out on the lake! i gave up and left the water spots on it after monday. Ill clean them up when i get out there if i have the time! If not im still going boating and going to have a great time!!!

If friday is that bad ill be making my way across saturday early. hoping that it gets better by then.

Oh and by early I mean leaving the dock by 5am to give everyone a beautiful sounding wake up call! that is if i can't catch a break between the rain tomorrow.

Where in the upper Chesapeake are you coming from? because im going to be looking for a small window to get over there as well. wont be able to leave until closer to 4-4:30 due to leaving work at 3.

Where's the nearest dock to the house?
Or are we all expecting to launch on the beach at the house? (could get messy)

I was thinking of coming down on 2 wheels but I don't think the weathers gonna cooperate.

I'll bet everybody could share 1 ramp. The real question is gonna be trailer space and beach/dock space.

I plan on using this launch here, it's at the very end of Crosby road.
