    Sadly it looks like I will not be able to join the ranks of the Checkmati this time around. We've confirmed the human capacity at 9 persons, 1300 pounds. It's just not enough for our needs....but otherwise we really like the boat. Looks like we are gonna be stuck with more traditional...

    Thanks EZstriper. We are in Northern VA but these days we keep our boats out in Montross. Maybe I'll see you out in Colonial Beach or out at Tims II (it's been many years since we have been to tims, though......)

    Thanks Keith. Nice photos. Hopefully I will get some other info from others, but this does answer the ladder question. Not liking the ladder setup much, but it is not a big deal. Is this a standard checkmate ladder? Do you know if there are multiple mounting positions for various depths...
