    259 sorry to take so long to reply ,, Its 565 BBC was not dyno;d so not sure of power but should be close to 700hp.. last year I was running a 555 that swallowed an exhaust valve at the ceasars creek shootout well actually the head came off the valve but either way it wasnt pretty...any ways...

    So the 259 is alive again ! Went out to the local resevoir and tried out the new motor and I must say I am very happy.. had three adults and 1/2 tank of fuel and was getting 5600 rpm with a heavily cupped 28 bravo from BBLADES so I believe its a runner.. no gps reading yet..:cheers:

    ANYONE RUNNING A B&M 250 OR SIMILAR BLOWER ON A 259 ? IF SO WHAT MODS WERE PERFORMED TO GAIN CLEARANCE IN FRONT OF ENGINE FOR PULLEY/AND BELT CLEARANCE WITH 16 RIB BELT.
