    outboard checkmate wanted

    1979 Enchanter w/ Carb 2.5 Merc I have a 1979 Enchanter in good condition with a carb 2.5 merc on it. Pushing a Mazco RE-4 26 prop. Turns 7000 with this prop. Will dig up some current pictures.

    What swt up will work the best on a 21' Enchanter O/B

    I would do at least 10 inches of setback and use a mechanical adjustable jack plate, add a low water pick up nosecone (I like Bob's) do some solid motor mounts. My '79 Enchanter running '95 carb'd Merc 2.5 twisting a Mazco RE-4 26 prop around 7500 rpm. GPS @ 74mph

    1980 Checkmate Entertainer

    Looks real good Looks real good. I have a '79 Enchanter with a '95 Carb'd Merc 2.5. turning approx 7500 rpm, twisting a Mazco RE-4 26 pitch with 10 inches setback, Bob's low water nosecone, solid mounts. She runs 74 on the GPS.
