    What speeds are you getting with your predictor? Have a 1979 predictor with an 89 140 looper on a bobs 6inch turning a 13.5x22 raker at 59 mph. Cant break the hurdle.

    RPM Just ran the boat for the first time fully fixed on Tuesday. I had a bad gear case but she is fixed now. My tach is off so I am working on getting the settings right and will re-run it this weekend. I know i can go up question is what to. 23 Raker is what i have heard from other guys...

    I finally got my motor rigged and running. Currently running a 13x19 prop. Anyone with similar checkmate predictor have input about where to go prop wise. Have 6in bobs jackplate. Doing 54mph on gps now with me and two 120lb guys in the boat.

    Got the motor! 140 looper 1989 Well I got 1989 140 looper. Apparently I ve got a bad gear case. Bangs while running. Adjusted linkage still not fixed. Either way did 54mph with me 190lbs and 2 others about 130 each. Ran good other then the gear case issue. I think the clutch dogs...

    I have 79 predictor ive just finished restoring. I am working on finalizing plans for a motor. Is anyone running a 25 in shaft? Im set up for dual cable steering hot foot and have a bobs 6inch jackplate. Can I run a 25 inch shaft? How will handling be affected?
