    Hello all, I recently bought a 90 convincor gtx with a 330hp engine and it wont run well at all (no speed) come to find out it has a 1.65 ratio drive on it which i believe is incorrect any idea how much that would slow it down over the 1.50 ratio . Any info greatly appreciated...

    251 prop help

    Prop ? I have an 88 convincor 251 with a mild 454 heads cam intake and CMIs with a 23 3 blade it runs 60mph at 5000 rpm but is miserable to get up on the water . I put checkmate 632 27 4 blade on it and made a huge difference cruised much better but launched incredibly hard it killed 1000 rpm...
