  • Just purchased a 1991 Convincor GTX with Magnum 502/Bravo One X Drive/4 Blade Solas 22 Pitch Prop. Runs 65 - 68 MPH on GPS. Fun Wow :) Not sure of actual length but think 25' ? I would like copy of original brochure if anyone out there has one, please ? Glad to become member of the community but sadly boating has come to an another season end here in Ontario, Canada. So she's tucked away in the garage awaiting the unfrozen water once more.
I am looking for some help on the X - diamention, or what the best number is for a 1989 25 convensor. I am at 6" right now. I have a 502 built to about 475 to 500 HP and run about 69 to 70 at 4800 RPMS with a 25 mirage plus. can I lift more or not.
I have a copy of the original spec sheet for '89 Convincors, but I can't be much help otherwise. I can tell you cam/piston/lifters etc but not sure is pertinent to your particular application. I would call and talk to Jason Kunkel at Kunkels Marine, he built my 500hp 502, prior to that I had a 454 mag rebuilt twice! I am glad to answer any
questions that I can. Enjoy your Convincor, I love mine!! the 89's are 251.
Just baught a 1989 convincor about 25 feet. It has a 502 but needs rebuild. looking for cam or help making it right. Thanks Roger.
