  • I recently bought a 1982 Checkmate without any of the running gear. The boat is titled as a 19 foot boat and is an I/O. (I bought it from the original owner) I can't find any information about the boat but it is a walk-thru bow rider style, with bucket seats and a bench seat across the rear. The rear engine cover is complete with the cushions and the floor is perfect.
It had a Mercruiser V-8 and I am putting a different powerplant from an OMC. The cut-out in the transom is a perfect macth to my OMC powerplant.
Can't wait to get the boat in the water in the next week or two.
Thanks for any help in finding out what model this boat is and I will post pictures soon.
    Thanks
    Daniel in Ocala Florida
