    As most boaters know, pedestal seats suck on a performance boat. They are used in narrow cockpits where bolsters won't fit. I was jumping a wake, my passenegr was standing, gripping the window frame. he was afraid he would hurt the window, let go, fell in the seat and it broke our of its floor...

    I guess my way and napkin way have same results. hatch still slow, did all the electrical clean up, still slow. spliced in two wires and ran them to the number 2 battery well. Attached clips, if switch goes bad or its slow to raise, i just touch these to the battery and voila hatch raises...

    if that diagram is correct, my switch is wired wrong. My switch has power and ground going to the middle poles. no w3onder my hatch won't lift

    so for the bilge to work in auto, that switch has to be in auto? so batteries have to stay on. Now if the pump does work.... in auto but does in manual... switch or pump?
