    Checkmate Rookie

    I know I'll be asking you guys some pretty basic questions about this boat and fixing and replacing some broken equipment. We have owned and been around boats our whole life primarily for fishing and having fun. But we decided to buy a ski boat for the small lake my buddy lives on down here...

    Checkmate Rookie

    A buddy and I just purchased a 1984 Checkmate Diplomat with a 115hp merc on the back. Bought it from a nice guy in northern michigan. Seems to be in real good shape and runs good. I think we're just starting to realize what a cool boat we actually got. I'll attach a pic as soon as figure it out.
