    Hi, I have a 1978 trimate iv with 3.0l mercruiser. I am new to boating so I am not sure what is going on. I was running the motor with the muffs on and water started to leak from the back of the engine, right around the starter. I am hoping it is just a seal. Any help would be greatly...

    i have a trimate iv from 1978. I was running it with the muffs on and started to see water leak from right under the starter. I am new to boating so I am not sure what it is called that connects the outdrive to the engine. Hopefully it is just a seal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    great foam is the foam that comes in a aerosol can. sold at most hardware stores and is used mostly for filling in voids.
