    Same thing was going on for me, 94 convinsor, I found it to be the main wiring harnesss plug in on the top of the engine, tried everything, then I wiggled around the wire harness plug in and all was good,it still does it now and then. This winter I will take it apart and hopefully just have to...

    1994 convinsor. Engine hatch failure

    Engine hatch Thanks for the wire solution, this is a great emergency solution. I was told never to put the battery's under the hatch due to the high heat from the engine .

    Just got this new toy, no owners manual. If the electric hatch was to fail, is there a way to manually open it?
