    I'm going to put my 1976 15' Checkmate V-Mate I up for sale on eBay soon. 1983 Merc 90HP runs good, no trim or tilt, replaced one coil and the voltage regulator last season.     Definately attracts attention. Where ever I go people ask all the time how old is that Checkmate. With the Mercury Tower of Power it looks mean.

    Victorious1, The 1976 VMate II is basically the same hull as your 1978 Inmate. Main difference being the Vmate is an outboard. g2
