It had a 21p SS. prop on it at the time and turned it at 5400 RPM and it went 47+ MPH. on GPS. this was with the prop all the way down with the cavitation plate at the bottom of the boat.     Finally got it all together! Mercury 115, 26p Laser 2 prop, 6" of set back, 4 1/2" above the V. Smart tabs to keep it from transom walking ( worked out great ) boat is very stable at 62 mph. RPM 5700

    Just got to try a Trophy plus 26p prop on my set up yesterday afternoon. Great prop no blowout and less slip. It brought my rpm in range according to Mercury specs. Now at 5350rpm. and running at 62mph. GPS. Boat has to be trimmed even with the water or it starts to chine walk. Not much boat...
