    mx14 in RI

    edit sorry, new to board not sure how to edit. trailer for up to 21' not 21". tilting trailer is soooooo sturdy, 1969, they dont build em like that anymore. i actuallly want to keep the trailer for a future checkmate but...... we'll see. have paperwork. talk to me.:bounce:

    mx14 in RI

    Mx14 in RI needs transom and floors. glass is in good shape. on tilting trailer that i want to keep (up to 21") and has a 25hp merc. lets talk. jed

    shaft length?

    i know this is a dumb question but... my mx14 has a 19" transom. according to what ive read short shafts are for 15-17" transoms and long for 20" plus transoms w/ a 1-2" margin of error. technically this should mean i could run either. which is better?

    hey just got an mx14 and need to power it. might be able to get a 70 johnson cheap. how will this do? also have been offered a 25 merc free. will this get the boat to plane? help would be appreciated, also any general advice. thanks

    any free outboards?

    i know this is a longshot and im new to the forum but i just got a mx14 and dont have alot of money (new family, trying to buy a house etc.). im looking for an outboard anywhere from 25-75hp for my boat. it doesn't have to run, but here is the catch.... im hoping to get it for free. Im sure...
