    Prop Advice

    I've got a Pulsare 1850 BR with a Merc 150 EFI. The prop is currently a 23"P 3 blade aluminum. Lots of prop ventilation when trimmed up even a little or in not so tight turns. I'm considering going to a 4 blade S/S. I have a line on a barely used 21"P Vensura. Anybody have any experience...

    Pulsare 1850 Set Up

    My 63MPH was based on the speedometer. Haven't put it on the GPS yet, but at WOT it's pretty stable. However, if it trim it out too much, the prop ventilates, so maybe I just haven't hit the tipping point. I don't have a jack plate so I don't have too much to figure out in terms of height...

    Pulsare 1850 Set Up

    Last summer I bought a new '06 Pulsare 1850BR with an '06 Merc 150 EFI. Current prop is aluminum 23P which is (predictably) garbage - ventilates and won't hold in truns, but runs 63MPH at top of recommended WOT RPM (5600). Want to replace prop it with a new S/S. Checkmate recommends a 21"P...

    I've got an '83 90HP. I still have the original Merc brochure. If memory serves, the motor was listed as 302 pounds. I don't know whether that includes the power trim pump, which was external
