    JV's '81 Enchanter

    Pics were taken on Aurora Lake, in Aurora, Ohio. It's a small lake community called Aurora Shores. There's a 20' max on power boats; but unlimited horsepower, which makes it fun.

    1990 Strobe 201 Weight?

    I just happen to have a bunch of old Checkmate brochers and your '90 Strobe 201 is listed asL.O.A. 20'4", Beam 94" Approx weight 2760#, fuel cap 31 gals, max HP 270, 18 degree dead rise hull and Max capacity 1200#. Hope this helps out.

    WEIGHT OF ENCHANTER

    Ive got '81 Enchanter; approx weight is listed as 1275#; the '85 is also listed as approx 1275# so you're lookin' at the same approx weight with an '84. Also it is listed as 20'1" not 21'.     Steering Lubrication?

    Chances are that only one of the cables is binding. I had the same situation with my Enchanter last season. Best way to check it out is undo one at the stern connection and see if the steering gets an easier; if not, reconnect and try the other. I had to special order a 14'6" for my 20'er...

    Ski tow/pylon for Enchanter ob

    The pylon is 23" and it looked a little close when I measured, maybe clearing by 4 or 5 inches; then I relized I had the jack plate all the way up. I'll be able to lower motor 5" and hopefully that will eliminate the cowl rub.

    I'm running an '81 Enchanter w/235 Evinrude. Hooking the ski tow line to the stern eyes is a real pain(especially worrying about the line getting sucked into the prop..err..ahh..again) I'm looking for a removable pylon that will mount in the area behind the rear seat and infront of splash...
