    Cavitation plate height

I'm rigging a 2000 Pulsare BRX with a 20" 225 Promax wearing a sportmaster gearcase mounted to a cmc 5.5" jackplate. When I asked the rigger to set the motor height so that the propshaft centerline is 3.5" below the pad he looked at me like I was out of my mind. He advised me that the...

2000 Pulsare propshaft height in relation to pad

What would you all recommend for propshaft height in retaliation to the pad on a 2000 Pulsare for primary duties of skiing, tubing, and general recreational boating? The motor is going to be a 225 Promax with a 23p HI-5 mounted on a 5.5" powerlift manual jackplate.

    21 or 23 pitch HI-V on 2000 Plusare BR with 225 Promax?

Yes, the Promax is a low hour great running motor with excellent compression and a Sportmaster 1.87 lower. If I didn't enjoy skiing so much myself , I wouldn't be worried about the RPM's on a lower pitch prop. Since the wife or the occasional friend or family member may be towing me, I want...

    21 or 23 pitch HI-V on 2000 Plusare BR with 225 Promax?

    After reading ForbesZ's post, I'm wondering if I shouldn't be considering a 25p HI-V. I would have never thought 150 would have done so well with a 23p HI-V

    21 or 23 pitch HI-V on 2000 Plusare BR with 225 Promax?

Hello, I am seeking advise for what pitch of High Five prop to place on a 2006 Pulsare Bow River with a Mercury Promax 225 connected to a 5.5" powerlift jackplate. The boat will being used primarily for tubing and sking and as you know the maximum RPM on the motors is 6500. I want to keep the...
