    @1954bmw I used Coosa Board for the transom, three 3/4" pieces laminated together. Im using it for stringers, floors & bulkheads too.

    Im currently rebuilding 1978 mate 2, thinking of doing some thinking similar. still in the thinking process only just finished the transom replacement. will keep you updated with what i end up doing.
