    Hi, I have a 1992 checkmate pulse. I cant fill the tank more than 1/2 full or it spills out the fill hole. Is there a vent someplace that may be blocked. I use a siphon and it goes 12 to 18 inches into the hole or it spills out even earlier. Thoughts? Scott

    I have a 1991 Pulse 186 and my cockpit cover is toast. I have checked with a few places in New England and the want $850 to $1,000 for a new one. Does that sound right? Any better deals out there?

    I am getting 4900 - 5000 rpm max. Would a 21 pitch work better than the 23 pitch? Would that help me get the last 500 to 600 rpms?

    1991 Pulse Top Speed

    Hi I have a 1991 pulse 186 with a 1991 Merc 175 ss 22 pitch racing prop. With 3 adults it goes 50-52. With just my 170 pound nephew in the boat it goes 59-60. Is that about right? I expected a little more. Your thoughts?
