    I have a 1990 Convincor and I have have been tring to cure this problem for years. Don't waste any more $$$ It's something you learn to work with.

    Thanks guys. I just talked to a fab guy who is going to make me stainless pipes to replace the hose. Should look good too.

    Stock exhaust and the burns are on both sides same place. Where the hose bends on the outer side. DUe to the swim platforms the holes thru the transom are 10" on center less then the risers. So the angle of the hose is pretty sharp.

    Every few seasons I burn out the exhaust hose on my 1990 Convincor. The angle of the hose seems to cause a hot spot. Anybody have a suggestion.

    I found out that insta-trim made the tabs and they have a cyl.kit cheap. Thanks for all your help.
