    Crank Bolt

    Heat it If you can get at the crank bolt in the front and the flywheel in the back get two wrenches/rachets and a helper and go at it from both ends at the same time. Once you break one end free reverse and break the other end free.

    Another Dumb Question

    BWB, The guy you bought the boat from thought it worked good. Why do you want to take it off? Does the boat pop up on plane fast? If so the do-fin is doing it's job. I have owned several used boats and I use to try and change things right away. Run the boat for a while before you change things.
