Here is my thought and from experience. If you lower the seat or raise the windshield. You will be like the rest of the clowns sitting on top of their seat so you can see at low speeds.

I was contemplating cutting down my seat and now I am definatly doing it! I also find it easier to straddle the seat and stand up for low speed stuff anyway. Plus you have to stand in the center of the boat when putting it on the trailer or it is always crooked. Took me a few weeks to figure that one out
