Well I started the spring ritual this week.Picked up the lowerunit after some skag repair. Only $225 :pissed: :brickwall: But they did a great job? This was a day after I got a call from Kary who is going thru the 2.5 for me.He says I have some tube thats broke off in each of the carbs and he's never seen that before?Maybe thats why it would run a little rich:confused: Hopfully the fix won't be elaborate or expensive. And this is just weeK one!

good to hear merc, had mine out thursday 70 degrees ran perfect i guess my tedious work over the past month paid off. hope that he cured your problem.

I don't start till at least a week or two into May.I have friends who have to put in and be at thier slip by April 15 or their head might explode. We always catch a ride or two over canada for dinner in the springtime.

i just took off my shrinkwrap today, everything looks great! just got to reinstall my outdrive and hopefully be ready for a ride by the end of the month!

figures i take the shrink wrap off and now were under a winter storm watch for 6-10" of snow......i hate this state!!

LOL, you Michigan guys :shakehead:;) I've been there a few times and talk about a long cold winter. I love it cold, but not in April! Glad some of you are getting out early. I have a good running boat but have a ton of mods I'd like to get done before heading out. Supposed to be 60 here today but that water is still hovering in mid 40's right now.

Yeah they are talking about 1-3 in of snow here downriver. This weather is so crazy . Im driving up to my house in Glennie on the lake this up coming friday after work and bring the Trimate home . I have to pull my power head and put on some new gaskets she leaks alittle water . Then im ready for the water . Maybe if the following week is decent ill sneak a ride in .... Getting the itch . Cant wait to get on the water .
