Anyone have an opinion on a hotshot plate.

Well I just put it on, I almost feel like an idiot for not just making one, it would be super easy to make, here's some pics if anyone want's an idea of what to make.

Yea I'm thinking of picking up some diamond plate and boxing in my 10'' extension bracket.I done the top with ss steel once before but over the yrs its become somewhat beat up.So I'm thinking rework the top and engineering the bottom somehow.Then maybe install one of those underwater led light things for the late nite dips off the back with the sweety!

your probably gonna have to measure your jp width to get the size you need, mine is 13 1/2" x 8 1/4", it is 1/8" thick, the bend is two inches wide and the end is 3/8" lower than where the bend is if that makes sence.

My slider "scoops" water when it is set low, so I have been planning one of these plates for a while.

Gary over on S&F made a nice one for his old bass boat. When I install a bigger jack plate on mine I will be fabricating one like it.
