Need some tight area buffing tips

Hey guys,

first let me say I am now on the Aquabuff bandwagon. All I can say is WOW. This stuff is amazing. I have been using the 2000 with a DeWalt high speed buffer and 9" wool pad. Top coat of wax is Collinite and I could not be more satisfied with the results.

Now where I need some help... I have buffed out all of the spots I can get to with the 9" pad. But there is a small 1" lip just above the rub rail all the way around the boat that I can not get to with the 9" pad. I could probably hit it, but I dont want to tear up the rub rail.

For you guys that have done this before, how did you get in the tight areas with a buffer? Main areas I am looking at are like in the picture below, areas around the coolers, and around the stuff on back of the transom. Any ideas are appreciated!

You can use a smaller pad on a hand drill or a palm sander type buffer. Its a bit tough on the arms but if you turn down your speed for better control you can use what you got. TAPE up the rubrail to protect it and keep the black ,black.
