I just got a 78 Checkmate IV and would really love to get my hands on a manual if such a ting does exsist...Thanks again for such an awesome site as I will post pics soon of the mess I got (I can see beyond the mess) :-)...Thanks
 
There are no owners manuals or maintenance manuals for the boat. However Chilton makes repair manuals for the motor/drive, you can pick those up at most boat dealer/parts dept.
