" For Sale" 1978 Checkmate Trimate II

Berky

New member
All original 78 Trimate II with Merc 150 that came on the boat new. This boat is in excellent condition! Always garaged and full service on merc 3 years ago with less than 10hrs since. Trailer included with new tires, bearings, and LED lights. Interior in excellent original condition. Boat is located in Eau Claire, WI and is also listed on craigslist. I love this boat, but we just acquired my in-laws boat and this one has to go. This is probably the nicest original Trimate II available. $4200 obo. I have a lot of pics if interested. Color is Orange and Black with Orange interior.

help with pictures

Hello, I'm the owner of this boat and I can't figure out how to pictures from my phone to this post. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

host the pictures on a site like photo bucket or facebook and the copy and paste the picture into reply.

pictures from this spring

There are a lot of new pictures from 25APR15. Fired right up and ran excellent! Great boat...kind of hard to sell it! The pictures should be on the Photobucket link.

Finally got the boat out on the water this weekend. It sure likes to suck gas! Already looking at what I can do to improve performance.

Thanks Again
Dave

good to hear

That's great Dave! Have you tried to spread that windshield apart to fit the middle insert? Maybe over time the 2 main sections moved a bit. I hope you have fun with that classic! Thanks,Todd

I was going to look at the windshield last night but ran out of time. So far I have put ratchets on the back of the trailer, transom saver, strap on the winch. Rear bunk guides and GPS are on order and looking into a stainless prop and a 6" offset plate for the motor.

I'll get a welcome thread going soon with pics.
