you can spin a 26P with a 115. i have a 21P on my trimate II and that seams like the max. Is the vmate a whole lot lighter than trimate II?

This boat cam e from Ohio. I bought it from SeaAronson. It had a 21p SS. prop on it at the time and turned it at 5400 RPM and it went 47+ MPH. on GPS. this was with the prop all the way down with the cavitation plate at the bottom of the boat. Since then I have added an Jack plate to set it back 6 1/2" and I am running about 5 3/4" higher than stock allowing it to unload more easily and be more affective. My slip is still the same after it is on plane. Also added hydraulic steering and trim tabs. The props I have tried were 24p Laser 2 witch turned 5850, an Trophy 25p that turned 5600. and now the 26p Laser 2 turning 5700 all of which were within a couple MPH. of each other. The Trophy when taking when coming up on plain had a vibration and then it went away. The Laser 2 both the 24p and the 26p are very smooth but take about 300 more feet for the boat to catch up with it. The 26p gives me more MPG. and the most speed. You have to give and take with props and motor height to find that sweet spot. I have fooled with motor height as it affects your RPM. takeoff and top speed very much so a lot of coming back to the doc and adjusting to get it right. My boat weighs in at about 1,100 and then me.
