1989 Checkmate Vision 221 Fuel tank/Stringer replacement

Greetings all. My 89 Vision is need of fuel tank replacement and now stringers are rotted. Has anyone done this project on a Vision? What we are seeing is odd looking, almost like someone botched it before and thus we are back to replacing. I would greatly appreciate any input and pictures/experiences you all could provide...also would appreciate any recommendations for tank vendors. So far Speedy tank has been great at communication but their lead time is much longer unless I pay expedited. I appreciate any input you all could share!! Thanks!

Its a shame this forum used to be booming i redid a starflte befor only use marine grade plywood, its expensive but the only thing that lasts, i always used fiberglass woven cloth its hard to work with but when done right, it stronger then mat, polyester resin is fine as long as your not going over someone elses work that could be epoxy if you dont know what they used then go with epoxy resin, polly can cover polly but not epoxy but epoxy can cover over both with a sand and whipe the dust down, replacing stingers is not hard.
