2000 Pulsare propshaft height in relation to pad

What would you all recommend for propshaft height in retaliation to the pad on a 2000 Pulsare for primary duties of skiing, tubing, and general recreational boating? The motor is going to be a 225 Promax with a 23p HI-5 mounted on a 5.5" powerlift manual jackplate.

I have found 4 inches below the pad on all my boats has been a good compromise for Towing duties and fun high speed runs.

Since you have a jack plate, I would set it up so the propshaft centerline is flush with the bottom of the hull at the top of the travel. That way you can move it down to 4-5" below for watersports and up for speed if you want.

I agree, that setup should run about 76 with the right prop and driver.
