Stock 496 Mag HO and Bravo1 outdrive. Approximately 140 hours. Imco dual hydraulic steering. Lenco electric tabs. Corsa selectable exhaust. 3 props. Cockpit cover. Boat cover. Steel trailer. Well maintained, carefully operated and stored out of the water. Fresh water only.
I've owned the boat for about 5 years. I am the second owner. The boat had 50 hours on it when I bought it from a Ford dealer in Blue Ridge Georgia. The boat languished at a couple of dealers during the "great recession" before I got it.
I use the boat at Lake Martin, Alabama. When I bought it, 28 mph was required to stay on plane. Lake Martin can get choppy on the weekend. Trim tabs were installed and the boat can now "plane" at 20 mph depending upon load. The boat also chine walked on me above 65 mph, depending on water conditions and trim. My shop recommended the hydraulic steering if for nothing else, safety, and to limit slop in the stock steering. Checkmate agreed. The boat will still chine walk if over-trimmed, in my hands, with a 4 blade prop, depending on environmental conditions. I enjoy speed, but I don't operate the boat fast as lake conditions and traffic usually don't safely permit it on the weekend. I don't have much seat time at speed in it. I did make contact with the original owner(great guy) who made some recommendations on operating it at speed. I just don't get to the lake frequently enough to practice his technique. I wouldn't recommend that the boat be bought by one who won't take the time to learn how to operate it properly. At the risk of stating the obvious, it demands your full attention at speed, which is what makes it special.
It's a reliable, quick, nice sounding and good looking boat. That motor wasn't offered in this model very long.
