25" Trophy plus

Any one out there running a 25" Trophy plus on a Merc 200 carbed?

I can spin a 26" @ 5900. looking to purchase a prop to call my own, and I'm not sure if I'm better with the 25" spinning a bit faster or run the 26" ???

So far I have run a 25" Laser2 6100 @ 70 mph
and a 26" Trophy plus 5900 @ 72

Would a 4 blade 25" be the ticket?:brickwall:

fiftyp, i see your from my old neighborhood. Where do you run your boat at. I've been docked at cass lake each season for the past 15 years.

sorry can't help you on the prop question, I've got issues of my own in that department.

I keep the boat in Algonac, and usually run around the shipping channels and bays.
got the boat 2 late in the season to take it up north, which was part of the plan.

The 25" will bring you up to 6000+ RPM. Which is fine as long as it doesn't become 6300 or 6400 in cool weather. In which case I would go with the 26"
