253 prop help

I recently added an xr drive to my 97 253 with a Procharged 454 mag. I was running a labbed 26p Bravo 1 but now I have lost some rpm's due to the straight cut gears of the xr. I just tried a 24p Hydromotive q4 but it was hitting the rev limiter and was 2 mph slower than the labbed 26 Bravo. What's next? 25p quad4 Hydro? Someone said the 25p Revolution might work well. Any input guys? Thanks, Chris
 
I run a 97 253 convincer also with a 454 mag and a 250scwith 6lbs boost and am spinning a 28 bravo 1 5000revs at 78.9mph on gps..I have talked to mike at cmate and tried hydro props and the convincers dont seem to like them as well as a bravo 1 prop...just what i have experienced..good luck..propping can be a @&^&@...but when you find the right combo you will know ..keep me posted
