83' Exciter

I am new to post a thread and wanted to show some pics of the exciter I purchased from "southernboy" about 2 1/2 years ago. This was the original thread for it. http://checkmate-boats.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10184

A lot of work was already done to this boat when I had purchased it. I did find some hidden rot in the seat boxes and replaced them as well as removed the deck and gave the whole deck new paint and flake!

Can someone send me a link or a brief pic format and how to post pics on here?
Thanks

The begining!

Sanding and stripping the deck.

After several days of sanding and filling and sanding more.
I gave it a coat of Gloss Epoxy black. (All done in a garage)

Two coats sprayed and baked in by the Florida sun!! It did not take long.

After, lots of sanding and tape.

I will be doing my best to put the original rub rail back on. It will be tricky as it is banged up and will need some work to get it back in shape.

Some interior shots.
The carpet work was harder work than the deck work!

The original fuel tank had some pitts filled and re set into the deck. I replaced the plywood deck in the whole bilge area.

I will redo the starboard side below the rub rail as the PSI in the flake buster gun was a bit high and looks to heavy.

Now to put some hardware on, and new guages. I will contact Mike at the factory for some interior help. I plan on putting a 150- 175hp on it.
I will send more as get to it.
