it has a 454 23 prop 50 mph is there anything i can do to get it in the 60 mph range and i have a alpha 1 thanks i new here and this a new boat to me to thanks
 
How much money do you want to spend? Cheap and easy is always trying different props but it's not a free meal, you sacrifice holeshot for top end and vice versa. Eliminating weight is something that can give a surprising increase in speed and a compression check or tune up can make sure you are making maximum hp. If you don't have a GPS get one, not only are the extremely handy in all kinds of places but it's the only way to accurately see improvements. -shane
