Anti-siphon valve...??

On top of the fuel tank pickup. It is supposed to stop the fuel from flowing when the engine is not running or pulling suction on the fuel line. It supposed to aid in fire safety.. ;) Jamie / Lakeside Restorations

Thanks....apprectiate it......would it be something to check among others, that could be making the engine cut out like something was clogged??...
