Asking price for Fantasy F-13??

Dr. Phil

Ok everyone..... Another summer has gone by and I think I might have only used my 1993 Fantasy F-13 about 6 times.

PICS OF BOAT

What would be a good asking price? It is in very good condition. New steering cable, no more leaks. Engine might need a littl work (Force 40HP) but can fully be used like it is.

Thanks everyone!

Six times is more than some people get.

Dr. Phil,
Why do you always try to sell this when I either don't have the money or just bought something?

Always an interesting question, because there never seems to be any consistency to the answer. I would suggest you decide what you think would be a fair price, or what you would feel comfortable selling the boat for.

Ultimately, it is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. If you are comfortable selling it for (this is a made up value, not intended to reflect the value of the boat) $1,500, and it doesn't sell, then be happy keeping it.

Pricing on this style boat is hard to figure. I just picked up a very clean 1979 Glastron-Carlson CVX-16 w/1979 115 hp Evinrude V-4 and a servicable trailer for my nephew. It needs a new floor. We knew that going in (what older Glastron doesn't need a new floor?). Paid $1,800 for it. Great looking, 50 mph running lake boat. And a very cool 1st boat for a 16 year old.
